K: Return of Kings Synopsis
In modern Japan, where history has oddly overlapped with reality. There, 7 Kings with excellent superpowers existed. Along with their clansman to whom they shared their own power with, the kings each formed clans. Order bound by blue, red flames that cause chaos, irregularities that shine in white, and reforms branched off into green. The Kings, each with their own abilities, now…
With “jungle” once more jumping back into action, the fates of the various Kings are brought together.
JUNGLE Also known as Green Clan, Nagare Hisui the Green King maintains control through a social network service known as JUNGLE. People who are not aware of the existence of clans or power log in to JUNGLE thinking it’s just another SNS website. These normal users are referred to as “E-Rank,” taken from the last letter of JUNGLE. As the lowest-ranked members, they participate in “mission” and earn points for completing them and move up in rank. The are missions in order to gain JUNGLE points. It’s as though they’ve taken an internet game and made it real. With the points earned, they move up to L-Rank, G-Rank, and they acquire special temporary powers. If they fail a mission, they lose points, and depending on the circumstances, they lose their temporary powers altogether. Once these suspects are cut off by JUNGLE and turn normal, there’s nothing but turn them in to the police. J-Rank, the very few who’ve made it to the highest rank of the clan no doubt have met Green King, Nagare Hisui, and received powers from him personally.
